Get Ready for Cupcake Saturday!…
Welcome to DouBle B’s CFB Picks 2014 Week 13: Weekend Edition. West Virginia couldn’t quite pull off the upset on Thursday, so I am currently 0-1 for the week (see that pick, plus the Week 12 recap HERE).
But there is hope for a great week, many thanks to the SEC, because its that late week of the season that they all seem to line up cupcakes so any who are in the National Title hunt won’t get a loss on their hands. I mean look at the victims this time: Western Carolina (vs #1 Bama), Charleston Southern (vs #10 Georgia), Samford (vs #14 Auburn), South Alabama (vs 5-5 South Carolina), and Eastern Kentucky (vs Florida).
Best game of the week is coming out of the Pac-12, with #19 USC vs #9 UCLA.
Anyhoo, lets get to it!
Update: We’ve got family representation at the Mississippi State vs Bama game (which Bama currently leads 19-13 in the third), E-9 First Sergeant Eric Bohannon!
Welcome to DouBle B’s CFB Picks 2014 Week 12: Weekend Edition. Since there was no Thursday or Friday Edition (due to the fact there were no Top 25 games), heeeeeeeeeeres…
Week 11 Recap (with last week’s rank in parenthesis):
As for the three I didn’t pick, we can start with the Huskies, who lost to UCLA 44-30, but really, it wasn’t that close. I was hoping Washington would come out and “play their best game of the season…but it was more like…
Then there was Auburn. For fucks sake they were a 23.5 point favorite, how was I gonna pick that one? By the way, I don’t pick for the spread or whatever they say, I don’t know gambling terms that well. AND DAMNIT THAT FUMBLE! Final Score: Texas A&M 41, Auburn 38.
I wasn’t very excited about the West Virginia / Texas game in the first place, and it was only a 3 point line, but I really didn’t think Texas would pull it off. 33-16 Longhorns.
Now its on to this week’s action with some rapid fire picks, I wanna get back to some sleep tonight.
Welcome to DouBle B’s CFB Picks 2014 Week 11 Edition, lets start out with…
Week 10 Recap (with last week’s rank in parenthesis):
As far as shockers go, who the hell called Florida over (11) Georgia? The Bulldogs had looked fantastic in Todd Gurley‘s absence, and the Gators pretty well sucked all season. Yyyyeah I didn’t pick that one.
I also went with my instincts in the Oklahoma State vs (9) Kansas State matchup. Didn’t work out for me: 48-14 KSU.
Utah couldn’t quite pull off the “upset” against Arizona State, losing 19-16 in overtime, but ASU’s win does set up a battle of 7-1 teams against Notre Dame on Saturday.
East Carolina also shit the bed against Temple, the first ranked upset since ’98 for the Owls. Good for them.
Welcome to DouBle B’s CFB Picks 2014 Week 8 Edition, lets start out with…
Week 7 Recap (with last week’s rank in parenthesis):
By my count I went 11-4 in week 7. You can read those predictions HERE.
I also didn’t pick (3) Mississippi State over (2) Auburn because I thought there was no chance both Mississippi schools would have epic days, but I was wrong.
(9) TCU nearly made me look good, but (5) Baylor scored the final 24 points to pull off the amazing comeback.
USC, who I called “suddenly mediocre” (and this is a team I love) moved to 4-2 after upsetting a previously undefeated (10) Arizona Wildcats squad that had just upset Oregon a week earlier.
And…although the Georgia pick was the most glaring, the one that hurt the most was Duke giving (22) Georgia Tech their first loss of the season. #FuckDuke

Welcome to DouBle B’s CFB Picks 2014 Week 7 Edition.
It’s rush mode…again, but here goes!
Week 6 Recap (with last week’s rank in parenthesis):

Utah State over (18)BYU
(11) Ole Miss over (3) BAMA
(25) TCU over (4) Oklahoma
(5) Auburn over (15) LSU
(12) Miss St over (6) Texas A&M
Utah over (8) UCLA
(9) Notre Dame over (14) Stanford
Arizona State over (16) USC
