Thursday, November 10th
#17 North Carolina (7-2, 5-1 ACC) over Duke (3-6, 0-5 ACC)
Soon enough we’ll be able to see these two schools battle on the hardwood. Can’t get too excited for this one, but I am a fan of this Tar Heel squad for sure.
Pretenders will be exposed tomorrow, Playoff hopes, which have stuck with these teams this long, will be dashed. But Champions will still be made…at least Conference Champions. Lets see who I like with my CFB Picks this week.
Lets get right to it, shall we?
Rrrrrrapid Fire style!
9AM West Coast Time
#12 Baylor over Texas
Line: BAY -20.5
Looks like the Big 12 will get solid representation with a white hot Oklahoma squad, buuuuut I would have liked to see them earn it via a league championship game. Still love this Baylor squad, but just take at this injury list (via statfox.com), it’s full of big time cogs:
LETS DO THIS!
Thursday, October 29th
4PM West Coast Time
North Carolina over #23 Pittsburgh
Line: UNC -2.0
The ACC’s Coastal Division is a three team race between UNC, Pitt, and Duke, who all have not lost in conference play. Soooo yeah this game’s pretty big for both squads, who have both already matched their win total from last season.
Both want it, buuuuuut heres the deciding two factors:
- See the UNC player in the cover pic? That’s Julius Peppers, current Green Bay Packer and the first player from UNC Football that came to my mind.I was trying to find a highlight video of his from college and instead I found this video of Rasheed Wallace and Jerry Stackhouse dunking the crap out of the ball all over Duke:
2. Pitt’s kicker has the last name of Blewitt.
After the week 6 shakeup, whats next?…
Welcome to DouBle B’s CFB Picks 2014 Week 7 Edition.

Sooooo…lets hope for better luck this week
Welcome to the Friday and Saturday editions of College Football Picks, Week 1. I’m actually very short on time tonight and will be busy at my new job tomorrow, so Im gonna post the Saturday editions rapid fire style. Next week I’m planning on running the fully, but I can’t promise anything as I’m still in training at said new job.
In the meantime, check out this pretty sweet video I just found of last year’s Heisman winner Jameis Winston‘s college debut against Pitt last season. It even has video of the fabled spring game where he was so good the presumed starting quarterback left the school four days later.
Click the link below the video to see my pick for Friday’s game between Michigan State and Jacksonville State.
