NBA 2K15 Now Has Face Scans, James Harden is a Beard Guru, a “What if?” Trailer

2K15 is going for the kill…

NBA 2K15 Your Time Has Come Face Scan on Make A Gif

I can’t remember if it was always like this, but since around the time the Xbox 360 and PS4 came out the NBA 2K series has been great at leaving its fans in the dark. We never get to hear or see very much of the game until maybe the last month or two leading up to its release. Personally, I love 2K Sports‘ thinking, it keeps my anticipation high, knowing that history states they will release a fantastic product.

As both Hawk and my buddy Mike Adams pointed out to me today, NBA 2K15 appears no different whatsoever. Theres been a trio of tidbits to come out over the last week or so, but to me theres none more exciting than todays news that PS4 and Xbox One players will have access to a new face scan technology. So now I’ll finally be able to create a pretty gd accurate looking Brett Black, plus or minus a few inches and a little extra quickness, muscle, and leaping ability. I’m hoping that it’s not limited to MyPlayer only and I will be able to put myself (and a few of my friends) into the MyGM mode. I believe there is a way you can put your MyPlayer into MyGM mode in NBA 2K14, but I’m feeling some type of way about taking the effort to figure that out right about now.

Besides the face scan tech news, theres a new short called The Beard Guru featuring James Harden, as well as Shaq narrating a “What if?” trailer, which explains the new, very DBR Legends League sounding features for 2k15’s MyTeam mode.

GTA V Next Gen Release Date Revealed With Trailer, Screenshots

GTA V Next Gen should finally draw DouBle B back out to Los Santos…

Yesterday the geniuses at Rockstar Games finally revealed the release date for the GTA V Next Gen XBox One and PS4 versions to be November 18th, with the PC getting a January 27th, 2015 release. Rockstar promises all versions will look even better than the already fantastic looking XBox 360 and PS3 versions, with higher resolution, increased draw distances, new weapons, vehicles, wildlife, weather, and more.

A new trailer showing off these improvements made its way online yesterday too, titled “A Picket Fence and a Dog Named Skip“. Which is surely as humble and pleasant as it sounds:
