Dallas Cowboys (10-1) at Minnesota Vikings(6-5)
(+3.0) (O/U 44.0)
A battle between two teams going in opposite directions as Dallas is the winner of 10 straight while Minnesota has lost 5 of their last 6.
Rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot continue to put up good numbers. Elliot’s 1,199 yards rushing currently leads the league while his 11 rushing TD’s are second. While I have picked against Dallas a lot this year and still don’t think they will get far in the playoffs with a rookie qb and running back, have learned to stop doubting them in the regular season.
Pick: Cowboys 24-17
The NFC North, which includes the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota Vikings.
became something of a joke last season, He threw for 3812 yards and 28 Td’s but led the league with 24 turnovers.(18 picks, 6 fumbles). I don’t know those numbers will get much better in 2015 after Chicago traded Brandon Marshall to the Jets.
. Cutler and Marshall had a rapport few QB-Receivers in the league do after playing together for 6 years, 3 of those at Denver from 2006-2008 and 3 together at Chicago from 2012-2014.
This loss will make 4th year player Alshon Jeffrey
the unquestioned #1 target for Cutler. Jeffrey is a turning into a fine player. He had 85 catches for 1133 yards and 10 TD’s in 2014 and 89 catches for 1,421 yards and 7 TDs in 2012. With their first round pick, 7th overall the Bears selected West Virginia standout Receiver Kevin White
whom was considered one of the top receivers in the draft and were hoping he would become the #2 receiver for them but unfortunately he may miss the season
with a stress fracture in his shin.
will once again be the go to back for Chicago. Forte has been one of the best in the business for his entire 7 year career averaging 1,100 yards and 6 Td’s a season. He is a hell of a receiver too he was fantasy gold last season, not only piling up 1038 yards and 6 Td’s but catching 102 balls, an NFL running back record, for 808 yards and 4 Td’s. Chicago added RB’s Jacquizz Rodgers
from Atlanta in free agency and drafted Jeremey Langford
but I don’t expect either player to take many reps from him.
