Picked 3 of 4 correct winners in the Wildcard Round last week. 4 more to pick this week as we enter the second round of the playoffs.

Saturday Night Divisional Playoffs
#3 Seattle Seahawks (11-5-1) at #2 Atlanta Falcons  (11-5)
(-5.0) (O/U 51.5) 1:35 PM Fox
We start the second round of the playoffs with a good one. These two teams faced off during week 6. It was played in Seattle and the Seahawks pulled off a dramatic 26-24 victory.

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and Falcons leading receiver Julio Jones went toe to toe the whole game,
but Jones got the better of him, statistically anyways. He had 7 catches for 139 yards and a Td on 9 targets. But it was Sherman that had a crucial stop on 4th and 10 in the final 1:39 of the game that would end the Falcons final attempt at a comeback.
Stopping the best receiver in the NFL is no small task but Seattle’s depleted secondary that is missing Earl Thomas will have to do just that. Sherman was not guarding Jones every play last game but he may have to be in this time. Atlanta struggled to run the ball against the Seahawks in the week 6 matchup, which is no surprise. Few teams in the league have been able to run against Bobby Wagner and company this season as they rank 7th best in the league.

Hawk’s 2016 NFL Picks: Week 10

By Brent “The Hawk” Walker
A killer week for me in 9 as I only picked 2 incorrect winners. 11-2 which puts me at 73-58 for the year. Solid turn around as of late. Can’t believe we are halfway through the year.

Green Bay Packers (4-4) at Tennessee Titans (4-5)
(+3.0) (0/U 49.5)
I just really don’t like the Packers. Haven’t since Rodgers replaced Brett Favre and I would love to see them be 4-5
Pick:  Titans
Minnesota Vikings (5-3) at Washington Redskins  (4-3-1)
(-2.5) (O/U 42.0)
Minnesota has come crashing down to earth again after a hot start. I see that continuing.
Pick: Redskins

Hawk’s 2016 NFL Picks: Falcons at Bucs

Atlanta Falcons (5-3) at Tampa Buccaneers (3-4)
(+4.0) (O/U 51.0)
A big 33-32 win for the Falcons last week against the Packers, after dropping two close games in a row to the Seahawks and Chargers.

Hawk’s 2016 NFL Picks: Week 5

By Brent “The Hawk” Walker

AFC BYE’S- Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs
NFC BYE’S- New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks

[arve url=”https://youtu.be/TFjcLBpJ7PM”]
Rallied back in week four after back to back stinkers and finished with a 9-6 record, putting me at 30-33 for the year. My Seahawks are on a bye but it’s going to be a fun filled week as I will be playing my good friend Quig in Fantasy.
Also facing off in that same league will be Quig’s roomate Cube and Double B himself. Naturally we will all be watching redzone together all damn day. Let the shit talking begin.

Week 5 at em.

Chicago Bears (1-3) at Indianapolis Colts (1-3)
(-4.5) (0/U 47.5)

A disappointing start to the season for both of these teams, but I do believe the Colts have a slightly more rounded squad and will pull off the w here.

Pick: Colts

Hawk’s 2015 NFL Preview: NFC South Edition

The NFC South, which includes New Orleans Saints, the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta enters 2015 without head coach Mike Smith for the first time since 2008 after back to back losing records of 4-12 in 2013 and 6-10 in 2014, to go along with an unimpressive 1-4 overall playoff record. Smith will be replaced by former Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. In 2013 (his first as the Seahawks Defensive coordinator) Seattle led the NFL in fewest points allowed, fewest yards allowed and most turnovers, the first time this had been done since the 1985 Bears which is widely considered the greatest defense in NFL history.
His second year with Seattle wasn’t too bad either as his defense would again lead the league in fewest yards and points allowed. No doubt he was hired by Atlanta as head coach to try to fix a defense that was the worst in the league last year in yards allowed.

One bird, stuffed into another, stuffed into another…

Welcome to The Hawk’s 2014 NFL Picks Week 13 Turducken Edition.

Note from DouBle B: This past Sunday Hawk and I were celebrating the Seahawks dismantling of the Cards and he said we need a picture of a Turducken for this week’s NFL Picks, in honor of Thanksgiving. So behind the text in the pic above? That’s a deboned chicken, stuffed into a deboned duck, stuffed into a deboned turkey. AKA “The Turducken”.

Happy Thanksging to all our visitors. Whether you celebrate it or not, you are greatly appreciated. Please, like our Facebook Page to show support.

Let’s get on to those NFL Picks from the Hawk!:
