Oh how things have changed since October…
*Once again DouBle B got locked out of his normal wordpresss editor and can’t log back in until about 10pm PST tonight, so expect a #MusicMonday post to go up sometime around then*.
Looking at Hawk’s Quarter Season-ish Power Rankings from back in October, CLICK HERE to see that, its crazy how much has changed. For instance he had the Chargers at number one, Eagles number four (see where they are now). But, for the reality of the current situation, here’s who Hawk (who in September correctly predicted the 49ers would miss the playoffs) sees as the pecking order heading into the playoffs:
1) Seattle Seahawks (12-4)
Hard to believe that this team was 3-3 to start the season and barely escaped falling to 3-4 in Carolina. Seattle has now rattled off 6 straight dominating wins to go to 12-4 and secure the #1 seed in the NFC. During that 6 game stretch their opponents are averaging under 7 points. The road to the Super Bowl once again goes through Seattle, a daunting task for anyone.
Seahawks take on a red hot Cowboys squad lookin’ to make a statement…
Welcome to The Hawk’s 2014 NFL Picks Week 6 Edition.
Since The Hawk started making his picks in week 2 he has a 35-20 overall record, including a stellar 10-4 mark last week (note that he generally doesn’t pick the Thursday Night games cuz he’s workin’ hard at his two jobs).

Who’s on top?
1. San Diego Chargers (4-1)
Damn! Chargers look dangerous this year. Rivers is on a roll. Their sole loss was opening Monday Night Football, barely against an Arizona team that is tough when healthy. They were healthy in week 1. Not so much now.
2. Seattle Seahawks (3-1)
Really wanted to put the Hawks at 1. but can’t because they lost to the Chargers week 2. Rivers and company took advantage of San Diego’s hot weather that day, and controlled the ball for 43 mins to Seattle’s 17 minutes, but Seattle still had a chance to win the game late.
3. Denver Broncos (3-1)
Denver looks even better this year then the team that won the AFC last year. Peyton will most likely break Favre’s career TD record of 508 in two more games. He is at 503.

Rapid fire style…
Welcome to The Hawk’s 2014 NFL Picks Week 2 Edition.
Hawk is a very busy man but he still took the time to give us his opinion on who’s gonna rule the gridiron in the second week of this glorious NFL season. Like the College Football Picks, we weren’t able to post one last week, so welcome to the first edition! I was gonna put up a highlight video of the Seahawks 36-16 dismantling of the Green Bay Packers in Week 1, but I can’t really find one to embed. Just click on the hyperlink that says “36-16”
