The 0-16 watch continues, as the Browns have dropped 9 in a row. They just keep finding ways to lose. Baltimore always seems to find ways to win, or at least be in position to win the game late in the 4th quarters.
No brainer here.

Hawk’s Week 4 NFL Picks: TNF Edition

That’s what I’m talking about!!
Started to get back on track with my picks in week 3, going 11-5. Should have been 12-4 but I went on a limb and picked the Chiefs on Monday Night. In order to be successful picking NFL games you have to pick against the grain from time to time. This puts me even so far this year with a record of 24-24 and its starts to get just a little bit easier (hopefully) in week 4  as I  have a better idea of the identity of all 32 teams now.
Note: Hawk’s picks for Sunday’s games will be released tomorrow afternoon.

Thursday Night Football: Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers
 
Baltimore has lost their first 3 games of the year, Pittsburgh has lost Ben Roethlisberger for 4-6 after an MCL sprain. Once again here comes Michael Vick. Apparently we haven’t seen the last of him yet.

Hawk’s 2015 NFL Preview: AFC North Edition

Hawk’s Preview of the AFC West, which includes the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers.

Like they so often do the Ravens slipped into the playoffs as a wildcard team once again. In fact since John Harbaugh became head coach 7 years ago they have only missed the playoffs once, in 2013, and have been a wildcard team in 5 of those 6 playoff years. They would go to Pittsburgh in 2014 as a 6 seed and defeat the 3rd seeded Steelers 30-17,  then fall to the Patriots in the Divisional round 35-31.
QB Joe Flacco will enter his 8th year as the Ravens QB and had his best year to date in 2014 throwing for 3,986 yards. 27 Td’s and only 12 Int’s for a QB rating of 91.0. Flacco’s numbers have never been eye popping but he limits his mistakes and has proven himself over and over again to be clutch come playoff time.
Fiery, shit talking veteran Steve Smith had yet another great year in 2014 with 79 catches for 1065 yards and 6 Td’s. After 15 years of consistently being one of the league’s best receivers, Smith has decided that he will retire at the end of this season.

The Hawk has already put in hard work to give you previews of all 32 NFL teams. Now he’s gonna give you some straight up wins and losses predictions…

With The Hawk’s NFL Preview: AFC Standings Predictions,  I’m just gonna post em up raw and unedited (well, for the most part), cause as I’m typing this we’re about t-minus one and a half hours till THE MAHFUCKIN’ SEAHAWKS RAISE A SUPER BOWL BANNER. The Hawk himself will be attending the game and sending pics and updates that I (DouBle B by the way) plan to post on the Twitter feed (which will be embedded on the site).

Look for the NFC and Super Bowl predictions and a preview of the Packers vs Seahawks game before kickoff at 5:30pm PST. Which means yeah, I’ve got a fuckload of work to do.
