“I don’t think I’m ready for what I deserve”
I’m heading off to work, buuuuut I had to throw this Game of Thrones Season 5 trailer up because it’s the bestest show ever. Hawk and I plan on doing a podcast on this show starting before the season starts on April 12th so look out for that.
Conan O’Brien invited Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski to play the yet to be released Mortal Kombat X and hilarity ensued. Lynch not only showed Conan how to play Mortal Kombat but how to properly grab his nuts. This was awesome. Check it out:
Marshawn Lynch has made headlines all season because of his one sentence answers to media questions. On Super Bowl Media Day last Tuesday he answered every question with “I’m just here so I won’t get fined.“
Today he spoke at last, essentially giving a monologue about how he feels about the circus that is media day. Here it is in full:
Only one can be champ…
Super Bowl XLIX
Sunday, February 1st, 2015
University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona
3:30PM on NBC
New England Patriots (14-4)
Seattle Seahawks (14-4)
It has come down to this. Two teams will face off to be the NFL Champion. Seattle just came off one of the greatest playoff comebacks in history, overcoming a 12 point deficit in the final 4 minutes of the 4th quarter, then ultimately dispatching the Green Bay Packers 28-22 in overtime. New England just came off a 45-7 dismantling of the Indianapolis Colts.
Live…well…it was earlier…in Scottsdale!
I’m about to head out for the graveyard shift in about twenty minutes as I type this, which means I’ve been sleeping all day (after being up all night). So that also means I’m gonna have to throw up something Seattle Seahawks (for #SuperBowlWeek) quick.
The Seattle Seahawks took part in the circus known as Super Bowl XLIX Media Day this morning, and it was predictably awesome. The Patriots had theirs too, but who really gives a shit about them?
